Was also two-time league player of the year, three-time first team all-league, two-time district player of the year and three-time first team all-district selection... Was 7-0 with a 0.74 ERA and 42 strikeouts as a prep senior and was 9-0 with a 0.39 ERA and 75 strikeouts during junior season... Hit .356 with two home runs and 31 RBI at the plate as a senior after hitting .363 with two home runs and 29 RBI as a junior...
