2015: Finished season with a 1-0 record to go with a 1.27 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 21.1 innings pitched. Came out of the bullpen for a perfect inning of relief in Cardinals’ April 28 win over Kentucky. Provided 1.1 innings of scoreless work out of the bullpen in Cardinals’ April 21 win at Cincinnati. Worked 1.1 innings of shutout relief in team win over Boston College on March 15. Had four strikeouts in two innings of shutout relief against Eastern Kentucky on March 3. Matched career high with four strikeouts in career-best 2.1 innings of shutout relief against Xavier on Feb. 28. Finished with career-best four strikeouts in two shutout innings of relief against No. 17 Cal State Fullerton on Feb. 15 at the Opening Weekend Challenge in Clearwater, Fla.
2014: Made 14 relief appearances finishing with one save, a 1.93 ERA and nine strikeouts in 14.0 innings pitched as a redshirt freshman. Worked a perfect inning of relief with one strikeout on April 30 against Ohio State. Kept Louisville in the game on the mound with a perfect inning of relief in the April 6 comeback win over Memphis. Pitched one inning of shutout relief against Samford on March 15. Threw two innings of shutout relief in Louisville's March 8 win over Miami. Struck out two in 1.2 innings of shutout relief to earn first career save on Feb. 28 against Toledo. Had a strikeout in a scoreless inning of relief against Western Michigan on Feb. 22. Made collegiate debut with one inning of shutout relief in Cardinals' home-opening win over Eastern Kentucky on Feb. 19.
2013: Did not see game action in first season in the program.
High School: Four-year letterwinner in baseball at Eastern High School. Ranked among the Top 500 players in the nation in the class of 2012 by Perfect Game USA. Earned All-Region and All-District honors as a senior. Named to Region All-Tournament and District All-Tournament teams in 2012. Selected for Kentucky East/West All Star Game and named to 7th Region Senior All-Star Team. Also earned multiple letters in golf and earned one letter in basketball at Eastern.
Personal: Born Robert Wynn Strader on March 15, 1994 in Louisville. Son of Rita and Robert Strader. Has two siblings, Angie Arnold and Dale Keene. Majoring in sport administration. Biggest thrill in sports was Eastern's comeback win over Ballard in the bottom of the seventh inning in the regional semifinals. After college, he wants to be a marine biologist. Person with the greatest influence on his athletic career is his dad who taught him everything he knows up to now. Hobbies and interests include fishing, hunting, hanging out with friends and playing any sport. Favorite athlete is David Price. Favorite candy bar is Snickers. Favorite food is hamburger. Favorite teams are Cincinnati Reds and Tampa Bay Rays. Favorite restaurant is W.W. Cousins. Favorite types of music are hip-hop and R&B. His father Robert is a PGA professional.
