High School: Four-year letterwinner in baseball at Lexington Catholic High School where he earned First Team All-State, First Team All-City and All-District honors. Ranked as the No. 4 player in the state of Kentucky and a top 500 player nationally by Perfect Game. Was a First Team All-Central Region selection by Perfect Game. Hit .330 with 20 stolen bases, 30 runs scored, 21 RBI and eight doubles as a prep senior. Earned salutatorian honors in the class of 2014 at Lexington Catholic and was a Henry Vogt scholar.
Personal: Born on August 19, 1995 in Lexington, Ky. Parents are Ken and Lisa Jackson. Has one brother, Tyler. Majoring in pre-business. After college, he wants to go law and business school and work in the business world. Person with the greatest influence on his athletic career is his dad because he has always been there to support him through the game. Hobbies and interests include drawing and painting, watching Netflix and fishing. Favorite movie is Avatar. Favorite TV shows are White Collar, LA Ink and Game of Thrones. Favorite athletes are Muhammad Ali and Johnny Manziel. Favorite cereal is Lucky Charms. Favorite candy bar is Reese's. Favorite foods are chicken and peanut butter. Favorite restaurant is Chipotle. Enjoys listening to all types of music but prefers country. His father played baseball at Kentucky and his brother played baseball at Ole Miss.
