2014: Made 11 starts and played in 50 games hitting .235 with 12 runs scored and seven stolen bases. Doubled and scored in May 17 win over Cincinnati in regular season finale. Singled and scored in first start in more than a month in series-opening win over Bearcats on May 15. Stole two bases and scored a run as a pinch runner in the May 4 win at USF to complete the series sweep of the Bulls. Delivered RBI sacrifice fly and scored once in March 8 win over Miami. Went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and scored once in Feb. 25 win over Eastern Illinois. Was 2-for-3 with a double, one RBI and scored once while also making a great diving catch in home-opening victory over Eastern Kentucky on Feb. 19.
2013: Made five starts and played in 35 games overall hitting .214 with one home run, five RBI and 12 runs scored. Walked, stole a base and scored as a pinch hitter in Cardinals' May 11 win at UConn. Belted first career home run in the eighth inning to lift Cardinals to 8-6 win over Xavier and complete weekend sweep on March 16. Had first career triple while connecting for two RBI in March 2 series-clinching win over Kent State. Earned first career start going 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored in Feb. 26 win over Morehead State. Singled for first hit of the season after taking over in left field late in the Cards' Feb. 20 win over EKU. Came off the bench for two at-bats in Cardinals' win over USF.
2012: Hit .294 with five RBI and four runs scored in 30 appearances. Had an RBI single in the Cards' BIG EAST tourney win over Pittsburgh on May 23. Came off the bench for an RBI double in April 24 win over No. 1 UK. Was hit by a pitch and scored a run in April 17 win at Indiana. Earned first career RBI with run-scoring double down the right field line in April 5 win at Georgetown. Scored the first run of his career as a pinch runner in the win over WKU on April 3. Earned first hit of his career, a solid single to left, as a pinch hitter in Cards' March 30 win over Villanova. Made career debut as a defensive replacement in left field in Cards' March 13 win over No. 12 Ole Miss.
High School: Played four seasons of prep baseball for coach John Toffey at Salisbury High School. Ranked as one of the top 400 players in the nation in the class of 2011 by Perfect Game USA. Named First Team All-League and was a league all-star as a centerfielder at Salisbury. Member of the 2010 Area Code team. Also earned four letters in football and was a First Team All-League wide receiver. Earned one letter in basketball as a guard.
Personal: Born Michael White on March 18, 1993 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Son of Gwendolyn Harewood and Michael White. Majoring in sport administration. Biggest thrill in sports was winning New England Championship in football as a prep senior. After college, he wants to play professional baseball and earn a marketing position at a Fortune 500 company. Person with the greatest influence on his athletic career are his parents who are his biggest fans. Hobbies and outside interests include photography, music and sleeping. Favorite TV show is Entourage. Favorite athletes are Miles Austin and Jason Heyward. Favorite cereal is Frosted Flakes. Favorite candy bar is Snickers. Favorite foods are seafood and steak. Favorite team is the New York Yankees. Enjoys any type of music. If he could have dinner with three people, he would invite Martin Luther King, Jr., Ken Griffey, Jr. and Jimi Hendrix.
