2010: Did not play in any games in his first season with the Cardinals but served as a valuable practice player. Also participated in Cardinals' practices in the fall after he earned a walk-on spot with the team during open tryouts in September.

High School: Earned All-District honors and earned three letters in baseball at Oldham County High School, where he was coached by Scott Gerlach. He hit .365 with 10 stolen bases as a senior at Oldham County. He hit .389 and finished with 12 stolen bases as a junior.

Personal: Born Mark Alex Grieshaber on May 17, 1989, in Jefferson County, Ky. Son of John and Betty Grieshaber. Has one younger sibling, Shallon. Majoring in management at the University of Louisville. Hobbies and outside interests include bowling. Favorite movies are Rookie of the Year and Heavyweights. Favorite TV show is True Blood.
