2017: Earned All-America honors and was selected in the second round (44th overall) of the MLB Draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks during impressive junior season... Was named as the ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for work in the classroom and on the field... Led Cardinals with .355 batting average, 20 home runs (10th in the nation), 61 RBI and 18 doubles while also finishing 11th in the nation with a .701 slugging percentage... 2016: Made 32 starts, including 30 in left field, hitting .309 with three home runs and 22 RBI in 47 games played... Finished 2-of-3 with a double and two RBI in June 3 win over Western Michigan at NCAA Regional... Was 2-for-3 with a double and scored once in May 20 win at Wake Forest... Delivered third home run in five games sending a two-run shot to the top of the left field berm in May 15 win over No. 10 NC State... Homered for the second straight game delivering three-run shot in May 10 win at No. 7 Vanderbilt... Connected for first home run and was 2-for-2 overall in series-clinching win at No. 17 North Carolina on May 8... Had career best five RBI and was 2-for-4 with a double in April 13 win at No. 9 Kentucky... Made first career start in left field and made perfect throw home to cut down a runner at the plate in April 4 win over Virginia Tech... Ranked as a top 500 player nationally and the No. 4 player in Indiana by Perfect Game... Hit .488 with 13 doubles and seven home runs as a prep senior... Hit .474 with 11 doubles and four home runs as a junior... Won a region title at Jeffersonville and was a semi-state finalist... Was also a four-year letterwinner in basketball at Jeffersonville and was a two-time All-State honorable mention selection.

After college, he wants to play Major League Baseball... Person with the greatest influence on his athletic career was his dad who led him to the game and encouraged him to be the best he could be... Hobbies and outside interests include golfing, fishing, playing Call of Duty and hanging with friends... Favorite restaurants are Buffalo Wild Wings, Longhorn Steakhouse and Puerto Vallarta...
