High School: An All-Region and All-State selection for the Panthers, he earned four letters as a middle infielder. Hit .435 with five doubles, three triples, six home runs, nine steals, 42 runs and 31 RBI as a senior, walking a team-high 23 times.

Personal: Born 3/14/87 to Troy and Lisa Osborne in The Ville. Is majoring in chemistry at Louisville. His biggest thrill in sports was winning the National High School Tournament. Would like to pursue baseball and then become a dentist after college. Has one younger brother. His father is his greatest influence on him athletically. Scarface and Field of Dreams are his favorite movies, while Baseball Tonight is his favorite TV show. Steak is his favorite food and cinnamon Life is his favorite cereal. Not many people know that he played in the Dominican Republic and he appeared in Business Weekly. Pete Rose, Vladimir Guererro and Marcus Giles are his favorite athletes and the Braves are his top team. Would like to dine with Rose, Ty Cobb and Jesus Christ.
