High School: Earned three letters in baseball at Tates Creek High School where he was coached by Dom Fucci. Earned All-District honors in 2007. Named to All-Junior Team, Sophomore Pitcher of the Year and Freshman Pitcher of the Year. Had a 2.10 ERA as a senior after winning three games with a 1.98 ERA and 66 strikeouts as a junior.

Personal: Born Corey Benjamin Kingsley on April 20, 1990 in Lexington, Ky. Son of Kevin and Lisa Kingsley. Has one older brother, Adam. Undecided on a major, but is leaning towards business. After college, he hopes to play professional baseball, but if he doesn't make it, he hopes to open his own restaurant. Person with the most influence on his athletic career is his dad who helps him to be a better athlete and person. Hobbies and interests include baseball, basketball, drawing and hanging out with friends. Favorite movies are The Dark Knight, 61, Sandlot and Wedding Crashers. Favorite TV shows are SportsCenter, Baseball Tonight, Family Guy and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Favorite athletes are Josh Beckett and Peyton Manning. Favorite foods include Frosted Flakes, Payday, grilled chicken, baked potato and corn on the cob. Favorite restaurant is Spaghetti Factory. Favorite team is the Atlanta Braves.
