High School: Four-year letterwinner in baseball at Jeffersonville High School... Earned All-State honorable mention and All-Conference honors as a senior going 6-4 on the mound with a 1.90 ERA and 79 strikeouts while also hitting .382 with 32 RBI and 12 doubles at the plate... Threw the second perfect game in school history... Was 3-1 with two saves and a 0.74 ERA as a prep junior... Finished with a 3.8 GPA and ranked 14th in his graduating class... Also lettered in basketball as a forward and center at Jeffersonville where he earned Academic All-State honorable mention.
