2016: Earned All-ACC honors and was a fourth round selection in MLB Draft while hitting .340 with 10 home runs, 51 RBI and 18 doubles in 64 starts as a redshirt sophomore. Went 3-for-4 with a double and one RBI in game two of NCAA Super Regional. Finished 2-of-4 with a home run and two RBI in NCAA Super Regional opener. Was 2-for-4 with two runs scored in each of the first two games of NCAA Regional. Homered and drove in two runs in May 25 win over Wake Forest at ACC Championship. Doubled and scored once in 2-of-5 outing at Wake Forest on May 21. Was 2-for-4 and scored once in May 17 win over Indiana. Chosen as a starter for the Cape Cod League All-Star Game, he added 20 RBI in 34 regular season games for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks, who advanced to the league championship series.
2015: Connected for four home runs and 18 RBI while hitting .261 in 22 starts and 45 appearances as a redshirt freshman. Was 2-for-4 with a two-out RBI single in 6-5, series-clinching comeback win over No. 7 Florida State on May 9. Connected for fourth home run of the season in May 4 win at Clemson. Delivered game-winning pinch hit RBI single to center in the 10th inning of Louisville’s 2-1 victory over Kentucky on April 28. Had pinch hit two-run double in April 25 win against Bethune-Cookman. Came off the bench for game-winning pinch hit RBI single in 1-0 win at Duke on April 10. Was 2-for-3 with a RBI double in win over Miami (Ohio) on March 31. Delivered pinch hit solo home run in the ninth inning of 5-3 win over Ole Miss on March 10. He was also a starter for the victorious North squad in the 2014 NECBL All-Star Game.
2014: Did not see game action in first season in the program.
High School: First Team All-State selection in 2013. Chosen to compete in 2012 East Coast Showcase. Named as Region Player of the Year and Northern Kentucky Player of the Year. Became 16th member of Kentucky's 200-hit club. As a junior, hit .560 with 32 RBI, 18 doubles and 12 stolen bases. As a senior, hit .555 with 30 RBI, 22 doubles, four triples and 14 stolen bases.
Personal: Born Blake Robert Tiberi on Feb. 16, 1995, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Son of Richard Tiberi and Laura Ziegler. Has one younger sister, Cassady. Majoring in sport administration. After college, he wants to play baseball professionally. Person with the greatest influence on his athletic career was his father because he has always pushed him to be his best. Biggest thrill in sports was winning the International World Series in Chicago with his summer team. Hobbies and outside interests include playing basketball, hanging out and playing video games. Favorite movies are Step Brothers and Taken. Enjoys watching Blue Mountain State. Favorite athletes include Robinson Cano and Josh Hamilton. Favorite cereal is frosted Flakes. Favorite candy bar is Snickers. Favorite food is steak. Enjoys eating at Buffalo Wild Wings and Mt. Fuji. Favorite teams are the Cincinnati Reds and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Enjoys listening to hip hop music. Favorite quote is "Your fear will freeze you, but your faith will set you free."
