High School: Lettered three seasons in baseball in centerfield. Was a two-time All-Conference and All-County selection as a wide receiver and return man on the football team, earning three letters. Was two-time All-County and All-Conference as well as All-State in baseball, hitting .440 with six home runs, 13 steals, 37 run, 27 RBI and 17 walks as a senior. Was Panther athlete of the year in 2005, attending the same high school that produced Antawn Jamison. Named MVP of his conference baseball tournament in 2005. Earned the Scott Katowitz Memorial Scholarship for outstanding leadership.

Personal: Born 5/8/87 to Bob and Amy Dunning in Richmond, Virginia. Is the youngest of three boys. Is majoring in sport administration at U of L. His parents are his greatest influence on his athletic career. Enjoys watching Seinfeld and SportsCenter, sports and hanging out with his friends in his spare time. Dumb and Dumber, Old School and Bad Boys II are his favorite movies. The Steelers and Red Sox are his favorite teams, while Peyton Manning and Barry Bonds are his favorite athletes. Chris Leak is the best athlete he has played against. He played soccer until he was 13. Would like to dine with Michael Jordan, Thomas Jefferson and Cal Ripken Jr.
