LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's soccer team is looking to extend its three-match winning streak with a contest against Akron on Sunday, August 30 at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.

After dropping its first match of the season, Louisville (3-1-0) turned on the gas and did not look back. In their three-match winning streak, the Cards have tallied 14 goals and 18 assists while limiting their opponents to three total goals.
Louisville is coming off a huge road victory over the reigning Atlantic 10 champions in Dayton. The Flyers scored the first goal of the match in the 22nd minute, but the Cards scored four straight goals to help them walk away with a 4-2 victory.
In the last three games, the Cardinals have had four different players earn their first career goal in Trista Morris, Taylor Wilson, Abby Cox and Ella Bard.
Junior Amelia Swinarski is picking up right where she left off last season as she leads the team in points with seven and is tied for the team lead in goals with two and assists with three.

Scouting the Zips: Akron heads into Sunday's match with a 2-1-0 record after taking its first loss of the season against Duquesne by a score of 2-0. The Zips are coming off a 2025 season where they posted a 5-9-4 overall record and a 2-7-3 showing in MAC play. Akron returns both of its All-MAC honorees in Jordanne Oberhaus and Addison Hall. Oberhaus led the team in goals and points while tying for the lead assists last season. Sara Bower remains in goal for the Zips after putting up 47 saves on a .701 save percentage.
