LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's soccer team is slated for its last match of its opening homestand with a contest against Belmont. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.

Louisville (1-1-0) is coming off a high after earning its first win of the 2026 season on Sunday night. After a 110-minute lightning delay, the Cards defeated IU Indy by a score of 5-1.
The contest featured five different goal scorers with sophomore Karina Peat leading the offensive showing with a goal and three assists. Liza Suydam tallied her second goal of the season in the opening minute, while Preseason All-ACC honoree Amelia Swinarski earned her first goal of the season. Ella Bard and Abby Cox were the other two Cardinals to score, and each earned their first career goal on the night.

Scouting the Bruins: Belmont heads into Sunday's match with a 1-1-1 record after earning its first win of the season on Thursday night with a 2-1 victory over Chattanooga. The Bruins are coming off a 2025 season where they finished 4-6-7 overall and were 2-4-3 in Missouri Valley Conference play. They returned their leading goal and point scorer from a season ago in Laken Whittington. She tied for the lead in goals with three alongside Kaitlyn Elliot, also returning, and stood alone in the lead for points with eight.
