Cards Set to Close Regular Season at No. 15 Notre Dame

Cards and Irish will meet Thursday at 5 p.m. in the regular season finale
The University of Louisville lacrosse team wraps up their 2026 schedule with a trip to South Bend on Thursday to face No. 15 Notre Dame at 5 p.m. ET inside Arlotta Stadium.

OPENING DRAW
• Louisville enters the game with a 6-8 overall record and a 2-7 mark in ACC play following its last home game of the year, a 15-14 loss to No. 25 Pittsburgh.
• Thursday's game marks Louisville's fourth straight top 25 opponent.
• The Cards are led offensively by Ella Berg who has 41 points (33G, 8A). She has registered at least one point in each of Louisville's 14 games this season, notching three or more goals on eight different occasions.
• Reese Whiteman has tallied 39 points so far this season (32G, 7A). She has registered at least one goal in all but one game this season.
• Sophomore Charlotte Jackson has 19 goals and a team-best 13 assists - both career highs. She has registered at least one point in 13 of Louisville's 14 games.
• Sophomore Haley Richards was recently named an Inside Lacrosse Media Midseason All-America Honorable Mention. As of April 13, she leads the nation in saves with 169 and saves per game (12.07), while leading the ACC and standing seventh nationally in save percentage (.506).
• Richards collected a school record 19 stops in the 15-5 win over Florida State - the most by any ACC goalie in the 2026 season. She has registered double digit saves in nine of Louisville's 14 contests this season.
• Sophomore Olivia Scroggie leads the team with 96 draw controls. She stands fifth in the ACC and 27th in the nation with 6.86 draw controls per game. She needs four more to become the fourth player in program history to reach 100 in a season.
• Scroggie currently has 169 draw controls in her career, becoming the ninth player in program history to reach the century mark. She currently stands sixth on UofL's all-time list.
• Freshman Avery Johnston paces the team with 35 ground balls, standing fourth in the ACC in ground balls per game (2.50). Johnston also leads the team in caused turnovers with 21.
• Head coach Scott Teeter is in his ninth season at the helm. He sits at 199-211 in his 24th season as a head coach, with a 54-91 mark at UofL.

SCOUTING THE IRISH
• Notre Dame (11-4, 5-4 ACC) comes in ranked No. 15 in the ICWLA poll, winning five of its last six contests. The only loss in that stretch was on Saturday against No. 3 Syracuse in a four-overtime thriller.
• The Fighting Irish are led on offense by the duo of Kate Timarky and Madison Rassas, who have combined for 127 points. Timarky has 54 goals, which in second in the conference and seventh nationally, she also has added on 16 assists for a total of 70 points. Rassas has 47 goals on the year, while tacking on 10 assists to give her a total of 57 points.
• The Fighting Irish have accumulated 125 assists as a team so far this year, that ranks sixth nationally.
• Notre Dame has three players (Julia Carr, Mura Irish and Fanny O'Brien) that have accrued both 20+ ground balls and 20+ caused turnovers on the season.
• Ceci Patterson and her 74 saves lead the Irish between the pipes.
