Cards Gear Up to Face No. 15 Duke

Louisville will close a two-game road stretch at No. 15 Duke Saturday at noon
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Louisville lacrosse team will resume Atlantic Coast Conference play with a matchup at No. 15-ranked Duke, Saturday at noon inside Koskinen stadium.

OPENING DRAW
• Louisville enters the game with a 4-4 overall record and a 1-3 mark in ACC play. Most recently, on Thursday the Cards went on the road and defeated Cincinnati, 11-10 (OT).
• The Cardinals are led offensively by Ella Berg who has 24 points (19G, 5A). Berg sunk the sudden victory goal against UC to complete the comeback for the Cards who trailed by as many as three in the game. It also kept the sophomore's streak of at least one goal in every game this season alive.
• Junior Reese Whiteman follows closely with 23 points (18G, 5A), she has scored at least one goal in her last nine games, dating back to April 17, 2025.
• Sophomore Charlotte Jackson has 14 goals and has the team-lead with seven assists.
• Senior Maggie McMahon has 11 goals and six assists on the season, in big part due to a current two-game stretch where she dropped a career high four goals against Florida State and secured another hat trick against the Bearcats.
• As of March 12, sophomore Haley Richards leads the nation in saves with 99. She also paces the ACC in saves per game (12.38) and save-percentage (.521).
• Richards collected a school record 19 stops in the 15-5 win over Florida State - the most by any ACC goalie in the 2026 season. She has registered double digit saves in six of Louisville's eight contests this season. The sophomore surpassed 100 career stops in the first quarter of the game against Cincinnati. She finished the contest with seven saves on the day to bring her season total to 99, needing one more to reach the century mark on the season.
• Sophomore Olivia Scroggie leads the team with 64 draw controls. She stands fourth in the ACC and 21st in the nation with 8.0 draw controls per game.
• Scroggie currently has 137 draw controls in her career, becoming the ninth player in program history to reach the century mark. She currently stands eighth on UofL's all-time list.
• Junior Cate Kangas paces the team with 20 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers. She stands fourth in the ACC in ground balls per game (2.50).
• Head coach Scott Teeter is in his ninth season at the helm. He sits at 197-205 in his 24th season as a head coach, with a 52-87 mark at UofL.

- No. 15 Duke (5-3, 2-2 ACC) comes in off a 11-10 road loss to No. 2-ranked Stanford.
- Prior to their loss against the Cardinal, the Blue Devils were riding a four-game winning streak.
- Avery Doran and her 35 points (22G, 13 A) lead Duke on offense.
- Ava Biancardi's 21 goals place her second on the team, while freshman Quinn Whitaker has 19 goals to round out the Blue Devil's top three goal scorers.
