THE OPENING DRAW
• Louisville (0-2, 0-1 ACC) is coming into this game following a conference-opening loss at Virginia Tech by a final score of 16-11. UofL trailed by as many as six goals in the first half, cutting the lead down to as little as two goals in the second half, but ultimately came up short.
• The Cards are led offensively by junior Reese Whiteman who has seven goals, opening the season with three against Ohio State and following with four against Virginia Tech. She has also dished out one assist for a team-best eight points.
• Ella Berg and Charlotte Jackson have registered four goals apiece - each with one hat trick on the season.
• Sophomore goalie Haley Richards has played every minute in goal and amassed 26 saves for the Cardinals this season.
• Richards collected 16 stops in her first collegiate start, which came in the season opener against OSU - the mark is tied for sixth on Louisville's all-time single-game list. She followed with a 10-save performance at Virginia Tech.
• The Cardinals return 23 letterwinners from last year's team which finished with a 7-10 overall record and a 1-8 mark in Atlantic Conference play.
• After losing eight seniors to graduation in 2025, Louisville field a young roster with 11 freshmen and eight sophomores to go along with seven seniors and six juniors.
• Head coach Scott Teeter is in his ninth season at the helm. He carries a 193-205 in his 24th season as a head coach and a 48-85 mark at UofL.

• Kent State (2-0, 0-0 MAC) is coming off a 17-9 win to Mercyhurst University.
•The Golden Flashes started the season with a 12-11 overtime victory over Lindenwood.
•Through two games, the Golden Flashes are led on offense by seniors Zayda Crumpton and Lizzie Lundeen who both have a tied team-high 10 points. Lundeen paces her squad with 10 goals.
•The Golden Flashes have a duo leading them in assists, Crumpton and Katlyn Binnix both have tallied four so far this season.
•Kent State is led in goal by Sydney Davis and her 24 saves.
•The Golden Flashes are coming off a 2025 campaign that ended with them going 6-11 overall and a 1-5 record in MAC play.
