Louisville Wraps Up Regular Season at Pittsburgh

The Cards are 27-6 all time against the Panthers
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville softball team will wrap up its regular season on the road against Pittsburgh this weekend. The Cardinals will play a Thursday (6 p.m. ET), Friday (6 p.m. ET), Saturday (12 noon) series with Saturday's game airing nationally on the ACC Network.
The Cards are coming off a 2-0 win over then No. 7 Florida State on Sunday, shutting out a top-10 offense thanks to Alyssa Zabala's complete game performance.
Louisville is playing for a bid in the ACC Tournament which will take place at Boston College from May 7-10. A series win against Pitt this weekend would allow the Cards to clinch a spot in the conference tournament.

Series Record: Louisville leads the all-time series 27-6
Last Meeting: The Cards took two out of three games from the Panthers in 2024. At Pitt, UofL dropped the first game 9-4, but went on to win the next two 3-2 and 9-0. Louisville has won eight of the last ten games against the Panthers.
Scouting the Panthers: Pitt boasts a 19-29 overall record with a 6-15 bid in ACC play. The Panthers are coming off a 1-2 weekend in Minnesota, losing both of their meetings with Minnesota in five innings on Friday and Saturday and beating North Dakota 5-3 on Saturday. Pitt took a series win over then-No. 11 Virginia Tech on April 18, 2025.
