Louisville is 20-4 all-time against the Cavaliers
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Louisville softball team will travel to Charlottesville, Va., this week to play against the No. 25/RV Virginia Cavaliers in a weekend ACC series. Louisville heads into the series having a 22-18 record (5-10 ACC). Virginia will host with a 31-13 record (11-7 ACC), while on a four-game winning streak. Â
The series will begin on Thursday, April 17th, with the first pitch being set for 5 p.m. (ET). The second of the series will be the next day at 5 p.m. (ET), and will conclude on Saturday, April 19th, at 1 p.m. (ET). The series will be broadcast on ACCNX.Â

- Leading the team in hitting is sophomore Bella Cabral with a .415 average and 49 hits. Cabral ranks 16th and 15th in the ACC in those categories respectively.
- Junior Jade Hylton is fifth in ACC ranks for home runs, with 13 this year. Hylton is second on the Cavaliers with a .364 batting average, adding 48 hits and a .788 slugging percentage. Â
- Virginia is led by head coach Joanna Hardin, who is in her ninth season at the helm of the Cavaliers and has a 173-217 record. This past season she chartered Virginia to the NCAA Tournament for just the second time in program history, making it to the championship game at the NCAA Knoxville Regional. Â
