The University of Louisville lacrosse team will wrap up a two-game home stand on Tuesday when Liberty visits UofL Lacrosse Stadium for a 12 p.m. matchup.
OPENING DRAW
• Louisville enters the game with a 5-7 record following a 15-2 loss to No. 4 Stanford on Saturday.
• The Cardinals are in the midst of a challenging schedule, facing four top-15 teams in six games.
• Sophomore Reese Whiteman paces the team with a career-high 17 goals, four assists and 21 points.
• Junior Negai Nakazawa follows closely with 19 points and leads the team with seven assists.
• Lauren Figas is also in the midst of a career-best season, standing second on the team with 15 goals.
• Graduate senior Ashley Osborne leads the team with 19 ground balls and has accumulated 100 in her career, becoming the eighth player in program history with 100 or more ground balls.
• Sophomore Cate Kangas leads the team with 17 caused turnovers and stands second behind Osborne with 18 ground balls.
• Freshman Olivia Scroggie paces the team with 47 draw controls including a career-high eight in the 19-6 win at Xavier.
• J Pleck (5-7) has posted 107 saves - including a career-high 16 against Vanderbilt while logging 607:54 minutes in goal this season. She ranks 10th on Louisville's single season list, needing four more to move into a tie for ninth.
• Pleck recently surpassed the 200 save mark in her career, becoming the seventh player in program history to do so.
• Last season, Louisville posted an 8-11 record after registering the program's first-ever ACC tournament win, beating Virginia Tech 13-11 in the first round. Louisville also earned a 13-12 win over No. 20 Clemson in the 2024 regular season.

2024 Recap: Kokoro Nakazawa recorded her eighth hat trick of the season in leading the University of Louisville women's lacrosse team to an 11-8 victory at Liberty.
• Kylea Dobson ended with two goals, an assist, a ground ball, and a caused turnover. Nicole Perroni had two points but contributed four ground balls and tied her career-high with five caused turnovers. Madi McKee tallied a season-high seven draw controls.
• Liberty's Jordan Sheive led all scorers with four goals. Goalkeeper Mara Tellers had 12 saves in 60:00 minutes at the net.
Scouting the Lady Flames: Liberty enters Tuesday's contest with an 8-3 overall record following an 18-17 win over Queens College on Saturday. The Lady Flames carry a perfect 3-0 record in the Atlantic Sun Conference with wins over American University, Coastal Carolina and Queens. Liberty's three losses on the season have come against ACC teams: Virginia (20-5), North Carolina (23-1) and Pittsburgh (15-6).
• Taiva Reinertson leads the Lady Flames with 35 goals and 43 points. Reigning ASUN Defensive Player of the Week Rachel Hines 13.18 goals against average with 95 saves.
• Kelly Nangle is in her 12th season at the helm and has helped the Lady Flames to 99 wins.
