LOUISVILLE, Ky. -Â The University of Louisville softball team will head to Highland Heights, Ky., to face NKU on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in its first true road game of the year. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Louisville (17-10, 2-4 ACC) finished the weekend 0-3 against No. 16/17 Virginia Tech in Louisville. Char Lorenz homered in the second game of the doubleheader against the Hokies for her sixth of the year. Bri Despines tallied her third home run in a Louisville uniform during the series finale and ended the weekend with three RBIs in just five at-bats. Brooke Gray held it down in the circle for the Cards, tossing seven innings with six strikeouts and giving up only two runs in the second game.Â
