
Louisville Goes 1-1 on the First Day of The Spring Games

The Cards beat MTSU, 11-3 but fell to Liberty, 9-4
LEESBURG, Fl. – The University of Louisville softball team wrapped up day one of The Spring Games with a win against Middle Tennessee (11-3) and a loss against Liberty (9-4).
Easton Lotus led the Cardinals with three runs in four at-bats. She had the lone triple of the game and stole home to get the scoring started. Char Lorenz tallied one run and two RBIs on the afternoon, doubling in the seventh inning.
Sam Booe earned the win against MTSU, allowing just five hits and three runs in six innings pitched.
Against Liberty, the Cards had four players score one run apiece and Lotus was the lone players to tally multiple RBIs with two. Brooke Gray took the loss, allowing four hits and three runs in nine at-bats.
The Cards return to action tomorrow afternoon with a 1 p.m. game against Rutgers followed by a 3:30 p.m. game against Radford.
