Cards Begin ACC Play at #57 SMU Sunday Afternoon

UofL is currently riding a four match win streak
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's tennis team will open up Atlantic Coast Conference play Sunday afternoon to take on No. 57 SMU. First serve is slated for 1 p.m. ET at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex.
The Cardinals are coming off its fourth straight win, defeating regional rival Indiana in a come from behind victory last Friday afternoon. Sophomore Germany Davis came up clutch in the match, securing the win for the Cards after a thrilling three-set tiebreaker. Davis is now 5-0 overall in singles action heading into Sunday's match.
UofL also boast one of the top ranked doubles duos in the country in Alice Otis and Elisabeth Iila, ranked No. 82 according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The newcomer duo went 5-1 in non-conference play, playing predominately at the No. 2 spot.
