The University of Louisville lacrosse team will open Atlantic Coast Conference play with a trip to the West Coast to face California Saturday at 3 p.m. (ET) at California Memorial Stadium. The game will conclude a three-game road swing for the Cardinals and mark their first-ever meeting with the Golden Bears.
Opening Draw
• The Cardinals enter the game with a 2-2 record after falling to Marquette 13-10 on Monday.
• Louisville secured a notable 10-8 victory over then-No. 15 Denver in its season opener.
• Junior Negai Nakazawa leads the team with 10 points (6G, 4A) and has recorded 10 draw controls on the season.
• Freshman Ella Berg registered her first collegiate hat trick against Marquette and is among the team's scoring leaders with 9 points (6G, 3A).
• Senior Lauren Figas has six goals and 12 draw controls.
• Freshman Olivia Scroggie leads the team with 14 draw controls.

• California enters the game with a 1-1 record after a 15-14 win over UC Davis in their season opener followed by a17-6 loss to USC. Emily Moes recorded a hat trick, while Alyssa Studdert, Annette Ciupek, and Alina Hsu each scored one goal in the loss to USC.
• Cal was picked to finish 12th in the ACC following a 5-10 (2-5 Pac-12) campaign in 2024.
• Head Coach Jennifer Wong enters her third season at Cal.
