Cardinals to Host Eighth Annual Moon Golf Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville women's golf team is back in action to kick off the spring season this weekend down in the Sunshine State. The Cardinals are in Melbourne, Florida as they are set to host the eighth annual Moon Golf Invitational. The tournament will be held at the Par-72, 6,467-yard Suntree Country Club and will begin with the first round on Sunday morning.
The Cardinals will be one of 17 teams competing in the tournament with 16 teams ranked inside the Top-60 of the most recent Scoreboard by Clipp'd rankings. 11 of the teams are ranked in the Top 25, including five Top 10 teams in No. 4 South Carolina, No. 6 Texas, No. 7 Florida State, No. 9 Northwestern and No. 10 Virginia.
The tournament will begin on Sunday with the first round and conclude with the final round on Tuesday. The first round will begin at 8 a.m. ET and players will start on either the first or 10th hole.
