Cards Close First Fall Tournament in 11th Place

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -Â Sebastian Moss of the University of Louisville men's golf team fired a final round score of 66 Tuesday to finish 11th at the Inverness Intercollegiate at the Inverness Club.
As a team, the Cardinals closed the two-day event 32-over-par after shooting 10-over-par on Tuesday. Over the two days, the Cards shot 289-285-286=860 on the par-69 course in their first tournament of the fall..
Moss had one of the best days on the course with his 66 after he shot 70-71 on Monday. The senior recorded five birdies, including three consecutive on holes 15-17.
Cooper Claycomb shot a 5-over-par 74 on Tuesday to finish the tournament in a tie for 43rd place. Brady Smith closed his first intercollegiate tournament in a tie for 73rd place after shooting 75 on Tuesday, while Easton Johnson shot 74 to tie for 75th place. Andrew Tan posted the second-best day for the Cards with his final round of 72 as he tied for 79th.
Patrick Keeling, who was playing as an individual, shot 75 to finish in a tie for 79th.

The Cards return to action on Sept. 16-17 at the Bearcat Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio.
