
Cards in Third After 36 Holes of Bearcat Invitational

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The University of Louisville men's golf team sits tied for third after 36 holes of play at the Bearcat Invitational on Monday at Coldstream Country Club.
The Cardinals carded rounds of 280 (-4) and 282 (-2) to finish the opening two rounds at 562 (-6), four strokes behind tournament leader Liberty. Louisville is tied with Memphis at third, while TCU sits second at 11-under.
Barron Mundy leads the Cardinals individually, sitting tied for fourth at 6-under 136. Mundy opened with a 4-under 67 before firing a 2-under 69 in the second round. His 67 marked Louisville's lowest round of the day.
Warren Thomis is tied for eighth at 4-under 138 after rounds of 68 and 70. Brady Smith is tied for 26th at 1-under 141, carding rounds of 71 and 70.
Will Judd and Adam Buchanan are both tied for 72nd at 6-over 148. Judd posted rounds of 75 and 73, while Buchanan recorded a pair of 74s.
Louisville will close play at the Bearcat Invitational on Tuesday with the final 18 holes set for a 9 a.m. ET shotgun start.
