Thomis Leads Cards After Two Rounds at Bryan Bros Collegiate

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's golf team sits tied for ninth following two completed rounds of the Bryan Bros Collegiate Monday at Solina Golf Club.
The Cardinals completed 36 holes on Monday, carding a 1-under-par 283 in the opening round before posting a 6-over 290 in the second round for a 5-over-par total of 573. The second round was suspended due to darkness with several teams still on the course.
Warren Thomis leads the Cardinals individually, sitting tied for 12th at 2-under-par with a two-round total of 140. Thomis opened with a 1-over 73 before firing a 5-under 67 in the second round.
Brady Smith is tied for 19th at 1-under-par (141), following rounds of 70 and 71. Max VanderMolen is tied for 45th at 3-over-par (145) after opening with a 2-under 69 and carding a 45over 76 in the second round.
Barron Mundy sits tied for 59th at 5-over-par (147), carding rounds of 71 and 76, while Sean Keeling is tied for 86th at 13-over-par (155) after rounds of 78 and 77.
Louisville is tied with LSU in ninth place, while Liberty and Ole Miss are tied atop the leaderboard at 13-under-par. Clemson is third at 9-under, followed by Arkansas at 8-under and South Carolina at 7-under.
The second round will resume Tuesday at 8 a.m. to allow the remaining teams to complete their rounds. The final round is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., with teams re-paired based on the completed second-round standings.
