Roed Named to ACC Preseason Watch List

The senior midfielder is a three-time All-ACC selection.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville men's soccer midfielder Sander Roed was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference Preseason Watch List announced by the league on Wednesday.
Roed was one of 15 players on the watch list, one from each program in the conference.
The Norwegian midfielder has earned All-ACC honors in each of his first three seasons in a Louisville uniform.
Through three years, Roed has racked up eight goals and 22 assists, leading the Cardinals in assists in each of the last two seasons.
Roed enters the 2024 campaign third on Louisville's career assist chart, just four shy of Tim Kubel's all-time program record.
Louisville has one final exhibition at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday night against Indiana at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium. The Cardinals then open the season on Thursday, August 22 at home against Jacksonville.
