RALEIGH, N.C. – The University of Louisville men's soccer team wrapped up its 2025 campaign with a 3-0 loss to NC State in the first round of the ACC Championship on Wednesday night at Dail Soccer Stadium.

NC State (12-1-4) took the lead in the 22nd minute on a goal from Drew Lovelace and extended the advantage just before halftime with a strike from Carlos Santamaria. The Wolfpack added one more in the closing minutes courtesy of Thomas Lamaille.
Ashton Flowers recorded the Cardinals' lone shot on goal in the first half, while Ryan Quintos and Bilal Camara each registered attempts in the second period. The Cardinals back line, featuring Olayinka Ogunleye, Noah De Blasis, and Jack Boring, played all 90 minutes and combined to limit NC State to just five shots on goal despite 21 total attempts.
Louisville was shown three yellow cards in the match, while NC State received three as well.
