Tennis Programs Earn ITA Academic Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's and women's tennis programs earned academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) today. The women had three athletes named to the All-Academic team and the men's tennis had five Cardinals added to the list.

In addition, the men earned the team accolade as an All-Academic team. The Cardinals named to the Men's ITA Scholar Athletes were Etienne Donnet, Evan Duggal, Miguel Avendaño, Piet Steveker and Will Mayew.

Lillian Mould, Allie Gretkowski and Berta Miret made the list on the women's side.

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must have had a GPA of at least 3.5 for the 2023-24 academic year. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have earned a team GPA of 3.2 or above.

The men's team GPA for the year was 3.210.
