Cards Set to Host Xavier at L&N Stadium on Wednesday

This is the team's second and final game at the Cardinals' football stadium
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's lacrosse team returns home to play Xavier this Wednesday, March 27 at L&N Stadium. The opening draw is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and will be televised nationally on the ACC Network.
SERIES HISTORY
This marks the first meeting between the Cardinals and the Musketeers. Xavier is in their second season as a program.
NATIONAL STAGE
Wednesday's game against Xavier will mark the second of three nationally televised games for the Cardinals this season. These three games will be home contests, all featured on the ACC Network. Louisville is one of nine schools in the country to have multiple streamed games and one of five schools to have three or more games on national television in the regular season. North Carolina leads with five games followed by Boston College with four games on either ESPNU or ACCN. Syracuse, Virginia, and Virginia Tech have three scheduled games apiece on the national stage.

On Wednesday night, Louisville lacrosse will play its second and final game of the season in L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium - home of the Louisville Cardinals football team. Louisville hosted the Virginia Tech Hokies on Feb. 24 at L&N Stadium, resulting in a 14-10 loss for the Cards. Last year, the Cards hosted the Pittsburgh Panthers in their lone game at L&N Stadium, ending in a 12-9 victory.

The University of Louisville women's lacrosse team had its two-game winning streak stopped with a 18-12 loss to No. 12 North Carolina on Saturday in Chapel Hill, N.C. Nicole Perroni and Kylea Dobson each recorded multiple goals for the Cardinals, scoring four and two goals, respectively, to pace the Cardinals. Sara Addeche recorded five saves in goal. Kokoro Nakazawa scored a goal and added a team high three assists.
ABOUT THE MUSKETEERS
Xavier women's lacrosse fell to Butler, 10-16, on Saturday afternoon, in its BIG EAST conference opener. The Musketeers totaled 12 points, 26 ground balls, 12 draw controls, 12 caused turnovers, and nine saves. Sophomore attacker Lola Mancuso was the leading scorer for the Musketeers against the Butler defense. Mancuso notched five goals, reaching her 12th career hat trick and sixth of the season, and went 3-3 on free position shots, breaking the program's single-game record for free position goals.
