Cards Set to Host Austin Peay

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's team will host the Austin Peay Governors at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center on Friday, February 2 at 3 p.m. ET.Â

The Cardinals split their doubleheader on Sunday defeating Kennesaw State 6-1 and falling to Middle Tennesse 3-4. Louisville dropped the doubles point against Kennesaw State but rallied back by winning on all six singles courts with Lika Peresypkina's win on court two clinching the match for the Cards. The second match of the day against Middle Tennessee was highlighted by three wins on singles courts by Elena Noguero, Allie Gretkowski and Peresypkina.Â

Austin Peay (0-2) is coming off a 1-6 loss on Saturday against Belmont University (3-0). The Governor's only point of the match is a 6-2, 6-3 singles win on court six by Freshman Pauline Bruns.Â
