Louisville Baseball to Host Purdue, Xavier for Fall Scrimmages

The Cardinals will play Purdue (Sept. 24) and Xavier (Sept. 30) in fall games at Jim Patterson Stadium.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville baseball program will return to the diamond later this month for a pair of fall scrimmages at Jim Patterson Stadium.
The Cardinals will host Purdue on Sunday, Sept. 24 and Xavier on Saturday, Sept. 30 with both games set to begin at noon ET. The two contests will also be aired live on 93.9 The Ville, the flagship station of Louisville Athletics.
Both fall scrimmages are open to the public with free admission. Concession stands will not be open, so fans are invited to bring their own food and drink to the stadium.
The fall scrimmages will be the first opportunity for fans to see the 2024 version of the Cardinals. The schedule for the 18th annual Pizza Bowl series will be announced at a later date.
