LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's soccer program had a pair of players recognized on Preseason Players to Watch lists by the United Soccer Coaches.

The forward was the 2022 Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year after posting 10 goals and three assists in just 15 matches last fall. Guerra earned United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region honors and helped Army to its first Patriot League regular season championship in 26 seasons.
The pair is part of John Michael Hayden's fifth squad as the head coach at Louisville. He enters the 2023 season with a 34-29-7 overall record with three NCAA Tournament appearances in four seasons at the helm.
Louisville opens the 2023 campaign on August 24 with No. 16 Tulsa coming to Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium.
