Cards will celebrate senior weekend when Boston College visits Don Dobina Field at Ulmer Stadium for a three-game ACC series
The University of Louisville softball team will conclude the home season this weekend when Boston College visits Don Dobina Field at Ulmer Stadium for a three-game Atlantic Coast Conference series starting Friday at 6 p.m.

THE HOLLY APRILE ERA
Head coach Holly Aprile is in her fifth season as UofL's head coach. During her time at the helm – which includes the COVID-19 impacted 2020 season, Aprile guided the Cardinals to 125 wins and an NCAA regional final appearance in 2019. She is four wins away from her 400th career victory as a head coach.
• Prior to her arrival at Louisville, Aprile, the 2018 ACC Coach of the Year spent 10 seasons (2009-18) as Pittsburgh's head coach and five years (2004-08) as an assistant. In 2018, she earned ACC Coach of the Year honors after leading the Panthers to the 2018 ACC Coastal Division title and a runner-up finish in the ACC tournament.

Series Record: Louisville leads 10-6
Last Meeting: May 1-2, 2021 - Louisville took two of three games at BC. The Eagles won the series opener 5-4 in eight innings with the Cards winning the next games 10-1 and 4-1.
Scouting the Eagles: Boston College brings a 21-25 overall record and a 3-15 mark in ACC play, to place 13th in the current ACC standings.
• The Eagles are coming off of an 11-0 loss to Boston University in their home finale Tuesday evening. In last weekend's ACC series, BC went 1-2 against Notre Dame winning the opener 4-1, but falling 5-2, and 6-3 in the final two games.

The Cards completed the sweep with a 9-2 win on Sunday. Louisville has now won its last six games and secured four of its six ACC series this season.
