NOTES:
• UofL brings a 25-12 overall record into Tuesday's game, following 6-2 win over Notre Dame in Saturday's ACC series finale. The Irish took the first two games of the series 1-0 and 13-6.
• In 37 games, the Cardinals have produced 10 shutouts and eight wins via the eight-run rule.
• Louisville is batting .317 as a team with five players hitting above with .300.
• Korbe Otis leads the team with a .443 batting average, 51 hits, 22 walks and 45 runs.
• Otis has reached base safely via a hit or walk in the last 30 games - two games away from tying the school record of 32 set by Maryssa Becker in the 2015 season. Overall, Otis has reached base via a hit or walk in all but two of Louisville's 35 games. Entering the week, she leads the ACC and is tied for fifth in the nation with six triples.
• Taylor Roby is tied for first in the ACC and stands tied for third in the NCAA with 14 home runs and owns the school's career mark with 54.

Head coach Holly Aprile is entering her fifth season as UofL's head coach. During her time at the helm – which includes the COVID-19 impacted 2020 season, Aprile guided the Cardinals to 113 wins and an NCAA regional final appearance in 2019.
• Prior to her arrival at Louisville, Aprile, the 2018 ACC Coach of the Year spent 10 seasons (2009-18) as Pittsburgh's head coach and five years (2004-08) as an assistant. In 2018, she earned ACC Coach of the Year honors after leading the Panthers to the 2018 ACC Coastal Division title and a runner-up finish in the ACC tournament.

Last Meeting: March 13, 2022 - Louisville won 16-5. The Cards used three home runs, including grand slams by Kendall Smith and Taylor Roby, to beat Indiana 16-5 on the final day of the Bluegrass Classic Sunday at Ulmer Stadium
Scouting the Hoosiers: Indiana brings a 30-11 overall record into Tuesday's matchup. Last weeked, the Hoosiers snapped a program-best 23-game winning streak, dropping two of three games at Big Ten oppoent Minnesota. The Hoosiers took the series opener 9-3, but fell 6-5 and 8-5 in the final two games.
• Taryn Kern leads the team with a .433 batting average, 17 home runs and 49 RBIs. The freshman recently set the school record for home runs in a single season.

Louisville will return to Ulmer Stadium to play host to Miami (Ohio) on Friday. Following that game, the Cards will travel to Oxford, Ohio to take on No. 1 Oklahoma on Saturday. UofL will wrap up the weekend on Sunday back at Ulmer Stadium with a doubleheader against Oakland.
