400 Free Relay will swim in final event of NCAAs tonight.

MINNEAPOLIS -- The University of Louisville will send Denis Petrashov into the finals in the 200 breaststroke after the final day of preliminaries at the 2023 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center in Minneapolis.

UofL will also send its 400 free relay in a timed final and the last event of the meet. The Cardinals are ranked ninth in that event.

In the 100 freestyle, senior Michael Eastman put up the fastest time for the Cardinals with a 42.18 to finish second in his heat and 22^nd overall. Abdelrahman El-Araby turmed in a 42.41 with Guy Brooks going 42.71 and Murilo Sartori touching in 43.16. The top qualifier for tonight's finals is Cal's Jack Alexy.

In the 200 breaststroke, Denis Petrashov earned a second swim qualifying 9^th with a time of 1:51.53. Arizona State's Leon Marchand posted the top qualifying time of 1:49.64.

In the 200 butterfly, Tommy Bried posted a 1:44.18 in Heat 1.
