CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The University of Louisville softball team will wrap up a four-game road stretch with a single game at Charlotte Tiuesday at 3 p.m.

Scouting the 49ers: Charlotte brings a 12-10 record into Tuesday's matchup. Last weekend, the 49ers opened Conference USA play by going 2-1 against FIU. Prior to that, Charlotte fell short in a 5-4, nine-inning loss to No. 15/15 Duke.

• Daisy Hess led the Cardinals with a .625 batting average (5-for-8), a triple, a home run. The senior shortstop also drew four walks and was 3-for-3 in stolen bases and carried a 1.250 slugging percentage and a .750 on-base percentage.
• Hess had at least one hit and scored at least one run in each of the Cardinals' three games at Duke including a 3-for3, two run performance in Saturday's 5-3 loss.
