Dowling and Praasterink Punch Tickets to NCAAs on Platform

UofL had three divers advance to the NCAA Championships for the first time in school history
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- For the first time in school history, the University of Louisville will send three divers to the NCAA Championships as Else Praasterink and Thomas Dowling qualified on platform at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center as regional divers attempted one final time to qualify for the 2023 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships..
Else Praasterink set a new school record when she finished second on the platform with a mark of 349.75 and her overall total for both rounds was 649.35. This allows her to also compete on the 3M springboard at NCAAs as well.Â
Thomas Dowling snagged a spot on platform with a total score of 623.40 and will join the Cardinals in Minneapolis.Â
