Cardinals Finish Day 2 of Moon Golf Invitational

MELBOURNE, Fla. – The University of Louisville women's golf team finished round two of the Moon Golf Invitational shooting 4-over (292) on the day. The Cardinals sit in 16th overall, one shot behind Alabama.
Louisville's Rylee Suttor shot a career-low 6-under (66) in the second round, moving her up 51 spots on the leaderboard into a tie for 38th. This was also the second lowest score of the day behind Auburn's Katie Cranston who shot 7-under (65).
LSU is on top of the leaderboard, shooting 26-under (550) through round two. This is a tournament record score through 36 holes. Carla Tejedo Mulet from LSU is in first place, shooting 10-under (134) through the first two rounds.
Sophomore Carmen Griffiths finished the day 1-under (71) to put her at an even score overall. Griffiths had an eagle on hole 18, one of only 10 eagles in the tournament so far.
Ryann Honea carded an even 72 in the second round and is 3-over (147) overall. Hana Ryskova is shooting 3-over (147) through round two and Mairead Martin is shooting 5-over (149). Gabbi Bentancourt is shooting 9-over (153).
Individually, Lauren Thibodeau is carding 6-over (150) through round two, Molly Lyne is 7-over (151), Carly Haines is 8-over (152), and Agustina Gomez Cisterna is 10-over (154).
The Cards will return for the final round of the Moon Golf Invitational tomorrow with a 9:00 a.m. ET shotgun start.
