Three Cardinals Invited to adidas MLS College Showcase

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Three members of the University of Louisville men's soccer team have received invitations to the 2023 adidas MLS College Showcase.
Damien Barker John, Josh Jones and Sander Roed were each on the list of 44 players that were invited to the showcase. Louisville was one of three programs with three student-athletes invited, joining Marshall and Wake Forest.
The fourth-annual adidas MLS College Showcase will take place from Dec. 6-9 in Phoenix, Arizona ahead of the 2024 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas on Dec. 19.
The 2023 adidas MLS College Showcase, a closed-door scouting event officially sanctioned by the NCAA, will feature 44 top college players, ranging from freshmen to graduate students, participating in training sessions, testing, interviews and match play.
Louisville has had 25 players selected in the MLS SuperDraft, including 11 in the last seven years.
The Cardinals finished the 2023 season with a 12-6-3 record, earning a NCAA Tournament berth for the third consecutive season.
