Cards Compete at ACC Cross Country Championships

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The University of Louisville cross country teams competed at the ACC Cross Country Championships at Appalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla. on Friday morning.
The women's team placed 13th as a team with Rylee Penn leading the way for the second consecutive meet with a 6K time of 20:56.8.
Layla Roebke followed with a time of 21:27.5 while Amy Harding-Delooze leapt into the scoring five for the first time this season, clocking a time of 21:31.0.
Lexie Paszkiewicz finished in a time of 21:35.0 and Maddie Seaby rounded out the Louisville scorers, running 21:49.2.
The men's team was once again led by Innocent Ntwali who finished with an 8K time of 25:03.5 with Forest MacKenzie finishing close behind in a time of 25:14.3.
Jack Stansell (25:16.4) and Ethan Meyer (25:19.6) were the next two Cardinals to cross the line while Nicky Alexander finished fifth for the team in 25:52.6 as the men's team placed 14th as a unit.
The Cardinals will return to the course in two weeks when they take part in the NCAA Southeast Regional on Nov. 10. The event will be hosted by USC Upstate at Miliken Research Park in Spartanburg, S.C.
