LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville cross country teams hit the road for their final meet of the regular season on Friday, Oct. 13 at the Arturo Barrios Invitational in College Station, Texas.
The meet will be hosted by Texas A&M University at the Watts Cross Country Course, where the Cardinals last competed during the 2021 season.
Competition will begin with the men's 8K at 9:30 a.m. ET, while the women's squad will make their season debut at the 6K distance at 10:15 a.m. ET.
Along with the hosts from Texas A&M, the Cardinals will also toe the line alongside numerous Power Five opponents that make up a highly competitive field, including a pair of ACC foes in Boston College and Georgia Tech.
The Cardinals began their season two weeks ago at the Live in Lou Classic, where the women's team placed fourth overall behind Layla Roebke and Rylee Penn, who both posted top-15 finishes while recording personal-bests in the 5K.
Jack Stansell led the men through the line at Live in Lou, while Innocent Ntwali made his collegiate debut at the meet and was subsequently recognized as the ACC Men's Freshman of the Week.
