
Cardinals Continue ACC Play at Home Against No. 16 Virginia

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville lacrosse kicks off a three-game homestand this Saturday, taking on No. 16 Virginia at UofL Lacrosse Stadium. The game is set for 12 p.m. ET and will broadcast on ACC Network Extra.
The Cardinals will continue their Atlantic Coast Conference schedule with the Cavaliers, starting the year 1-3. UofL defeated Virginia Tech 14-11 at home on Feb. 26 to open league play.
Senior Hannah Morris leads the team with 30 goals this season, which rank seventh in the ACC and 19th in the NCAA. Her 3.00 goals per game rank ninth in the ACC. Junior Nicole Perroni is second on the team with 27 goals, which rank 10th in the league.
Morris is just 18 goals and eight points away from 100 career goals and points at Louisville. She is scoring 3.0 goals while tallying 3.3 points per game through ten games this season.
Louisville is 2-2 this season in games following a loss. They were just 3-6 in 2021 after going 4-0 in 2020.

As a team, the Cavaliers are fourth in the ACC with 17.27 draw controls per game.

Last Meeting (March 6, 2021) - The Cardinals rallied late, but came up short 13-12 at No. 8 Virginia. Louisville won the draw control battle 16-12, led by Caroline Blalock and Alex McNicholas with four each. Blalock led the team with two goals and three assists with Hannah Morris netting four goals.
