The teams will meet in a single game Friday at 6 p.m. which will be televised on the ACC Network Extra. On Saturday, the Cards and the Yellow Jackets will face off at 4 p.m. on the ACC Network. The series finale is slated for a 12 p.m. first pitch on Sunday (ACC Network Extra).

Clear Bag Policy: A Clear Bag Policy remains in place at all UofL athletics facilities. Fans may bring one clear bag, either a one-gallon clear Ziploc-style storage bag, or a 12 x 6 x 12 inches clear tote bag.

THE APRILE ERA
• Holly Aprile is entering her fourth season as UofL's head coach. With the 2020 campaign suspended prior to its midway point due to the outbreak of COVID-19, Aprile has compiled a 81-72-1 record and guided the Cardinals to an NCAA regional final appearance in 2019.
• Prior to her arrival at Louisville, Aprile, 2018 ACC Coach of the Year spent 10 seasons (2009-18) as Pittsburgh's head coach and five years (2004-08) as an assistant. In 2018, she earned ACC Coach of the Year honors after leading the Panthers to the 2018 ACC Coastal Division title and a runner-up finish in the ACC tournament.

Scouting the Yellow Jackets: Georgia Tech (16-8, 0-6 ACC) is coming off a 12-3 win over No. 16 Georgia in a midweek contest.
• The Yellow Jackets have faced a tough ACC slate so far, starting with three losses at No. 14 Duke and last weekend lost all three games against No. 3 Florida State, but taking the Seminoles to 12 innings before a 6-2 loss in game two.Â
• Preseason All-ACC Team Member Tricia Awald leads the bats for Georgia Tech, with a .400 batting average and 19 RBIs. Blake Neleman (10-4) has shouldered the bulk of the pitching duties with 109 strikeouts in 86.0 innings of work. She recently picked up the win against Georgia.
• Head coach Aileen Morales is in her fifth season leading the Yellow Jackets.

Carmyn Greenwood's grand slam keyed the University of Louisville softball team to a 15-0, five-inning win over Western Illinois Wednesday at Ulmer Stadium.
• Greenwood finished the game with two hits and four RBIs with her second grand slam of the season. Freshman Korbe Otis also had two hits including a homer and fellow rookie Ally Alexander connected on her second home run of the season and scored three runs.
• Louisville recorded a season-high six stolen bases in the game. Otis and Alexander had two apiece.
