
Kouzelos Named to Racing Louisville FC’s Preseason Roster

Racing Louisville FC announced today that former University of Louisville women’s soccer goalkeeper Gabby Kouzelos has been named to its preseason roster.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Racing Louisville FC announced today that former University of Louisville women's soccer goalkeeper Gabby Kouzelos has been named to its preseason roster.
Kouzelos rewrote the record books during her six-year stint with the Cardinals. She earned All-ACC accolades in 2019 and 2020 and was named to the All-ACC Academic team multiple times. She was also named to the 2020-21 Academic All-District Division I women's soccer team selected by CoSIDA.
The Wadsworth, Ohio native ranks first all-time in UofL program history with 7,667 minutes in goal and from 2019 to 2021 she had a stretch of 36 consecutive games where she played every minute.
She recorded back-to-back shutouts this past season in wins over NKU and Saint Louis, the 27th and 28th of her career at Louisville, to extend her program record, and had two saves in the 3-0 win over NKU to become the fifth player in UofL history to eclipse 200 saves. She ranks fourth in UofL program history with 257 saves.
She helped lead the Cardinals to NCAA Tournament appearances in 2018 and 2019, which included a 1-0 win over Lipscomb in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Nov. 15, 2019.
