
Cards Finish in a Tie for Seventh at ACC Championship

Louisville, Ky. – Lauren Hartlage tied for sixth on the individual leaderboard, setting the program record with 23 career top-ten finishes, as the University of Louisville women's golf team finished in seventh place to conclude the stroke play portion of the ACC Championships on Friday.
The four-day tournament, which is held at the 6,089-yard, par 72 Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina will conclude with match play this weekend.
The Cardinals carded a 297 over the final round to finish at 33-over 897. Duke, Wake Forest, Florida State and Virginia claimed the top four spots to advance to Saturday's semifinals.
Hartlage paced the Cardinals on Friday, posting a three-under 69 to tie individual champion Duke's Gina Kim and Virginia's Jennifer Clearly with the highest third round score. After recording four birdies over her first two rounds, Hartlage used exceptional play on the front nine to notch three birdies and an eagle on hole five over the final day of play. Her averages on par 3 and par 4 holes finished among the top five in the field.
Hana Ryskova and Margot Bechadergue each tied for 28th. Bechadergue shot a 78-72-75 for a 9-over 225, while Ryskova carded a 76-71-78. Her 12 total birdies trailed only Duke's Erica Shepard and Wake Forest's Rachel Kuehn.
Agustina Gomez-Cisterna showcased her best play of the event as she posted a 3-over 75 over the final round to spring eight spots and finish tied for 41st. As sophomore became increasingly comfortable navigating the difficult course, her scores continued to improve, posting a 79-78-75 over the three rounds. Mairead Martin finished in 60th to round out the lineup.
Louisville will now set their sights on the NCAA Regionals, which will be hosted by the UofL Golf Club from May 10-12.
