DURHAM, N.C. -- Nena Mbonu had 14 kills and a block to lead the University of Louisville volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep of Duke Sunday afternoon in Durham.

UofL, playing in a non-conference match with the Blue Devils due to a pause by Virginia Tech, moves to 9-2 and 7-2 in the ACC with the 25-15, 25-22, 25-20 win.

The Cardinals hit .296 as a team with 10 aces, eight blocks and 37 digs. Aiko Jones and Anna DeBeer each had nine kills with Jones adding two blocks for the Cardinals. Tori Dilfer had a match-high 31 assists and Ayden Bartlett paced the defense with nine digs. Alexis Hamilton aced the Blue Devils four times and added five digs.

Duke moves to 8-7 and 6-5 in the league. The Blue Devils were led by Ade Owokoniran, who had 11 kills and a block. Lily Cooper had six kills, no hitting errors and added a team-high three blocks.

The Cardinals stay on the road for their next two matches when they head to play both Florida State and Virginia in Charlottesville next Friday and Saturday.
