WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Amaya Tillman had 11 kills, hitting .474 with a pair of blocks to lead the No. 2-ranked University of Louisville volleyball team a 3-1 win at Wake Forest in ACC action.

Louisville moves to 18-0 with the 25-23, 25-19, 21-25, 25-19 win and remains unbeaten in the ACC at 8-0. Claire Chaussee had 12 kills, along with Anna Stevenson's and Anna DeBeers 10 kills. Stevenson and Aiko Jones each had four blocks. Ceci Rush came off the bench to record three aces and Ayden Bartlett had 10 digs, playing her first match this year at libero. Tori Dilfer recorded 40 assists, two aces and a block. The Cards hit .207 with nine aces, 41 digs and eight blocks.

Wake Forest, which swept Notre Dame on Friday, drops to 11-8 and 2-6 in the ACC. The Deacons' spirited offense was led by Kamryn Malloy's 18 kills and three aces. WFU hit .133 with five aces, 10 blocks and 46 digs.

Louisville returns home to L&N Federal Credit Union Arena with Virginia on tap for Friday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. Then Sunday will showcase the long-awaited showdown with No. 4 Pitt (16-1, 6-1) coming at 1 p.m. in L&N Arena.

Wake Forest took the lead at 11-10 and kept it until the Cardinals tied at 21 enroute to the 25-23 win, using a 6-1 run down the stretch to complete the comeback. UofL hit .333 despite being blocked four times. Anna DeBeer led with six kills.

In the second set, Louisville took the lead at 5-4 on a kill by Claire Chaussee. The Cardinals built the lead 13-4 to on an 8-0 serving run by Ceci Rush.  Wake Forest did not go away, cutting the lead to 23-18 on a kill by Kamyrn Malloy. But the Deacons ran out of time as the Cardinals won on a WF serving error and a kill by Amaya Tillman.

Louisville dropped its first set since Sept. 15 against Kentucky when the Deacons tied at 10. WF  went on a 5-1 run to go up 15-11 and then held that four point lead until Louisville cut it to two on an ace by Ceci Rush at 22-20. Louisville scored just once more as the Deacons took the third set 25-21.

The Cardinals did not trail in the fourth set until Kamryn Malloy connected with Andrea Fuentes to go up 14-13. The Cardinals tied at 15 on a kill by Stevenson and then rolled to the 25-19 victory, winning on a service ace by Ayden Bartlett. Â
