Rhea Verma and Mark Beckham discuss the Cardinal roster and the ACC Slate.
University of Louisville tennis coach Mark Beckham and newcomer Rhea Verma were on hand at the Cardinals Media Day to talk all things tennis and the grueling ACC slate ahead.Â
The Cardinals have bolstered their roster with five transfers and a freshman, who Beckham thinks will shine in the ACC.Â
UofL has three matches this weekend, with a Friday tilt at Ball State on Friday and then a doubleheader with Southeast Missouri State on Sunday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.Â
The Cardinals are coming off of a doubleheader sweep against North Alabama last Friday, Jan.17. Louisville is off to a 2-0 start to their 2020 dual match season. The women's team impressed against North Alabama, where the Cards did not lose a single set over the course of the doubleheader.
